Jean-Marie Sumo, PhD, MTS
President, CEO, Founder of NCR, INC. December 2002

Dr. Jean-Marie Sumo is an Ordained Bishop in the Church God. He has held several management and advisory positions. Former Branch Manager of DHL Courier Service in Cameroon, former Commercial Assistant with the British Embassy in Cameroon, former Economic Adviser with the Consulate of the United States in Cameroon, and former Pastor of the Christian Brothers Community Church.

 

He moved to Washington DC in 1994, where he established a church and an outreach program to serve needy and helpless families. In December 2002, he registered his social work program with the District of Columbia and the Internal Revenue Service, named "Nations Community Restoration" (NCR). His vision had always been to go serve the need of hungry families in other nations. The founders relocated to Georgia in 2009  and registered Nations Community Restoration, Inc (NCR,INC) in September 2010.

 

Bishop Sumo holds a Master of Theological Studies from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary, Cleveland, Tennessee, and a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Beulah Heights University, Atlanta, Georgia.

 

His present goal: To develop graduate institutions, to train leaders in their various expertise, to empower the younger generation for better future, and to continue to help improve the standard of life of the less privileged people.

Elizabeth P. Sumo, MSCA/MAFM 
CFO and Co-Founder of NCR, Inc. December 2002

Mrs. Sumo serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation. She holds 2 Master of Science Degrees, one in Accounting as a Comptroller of Finance with Strayer University and a second Master of Accounting and Financial Management as a CPA with Keller School of Management. She is a licensed Tax Professional with the State of Maryland, an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service since November 2018, an Active member of the National Society of Accountant since July 2018, and a registered member of the National Alliance of Tax Preparers and Professionals since 2016.


Mrs. Sumo is the Financial Director and CFO of NCR Accounting and Financial Services, LLC., DBA NCR Tax Services. She served as Senior Accountant for churches and large companies in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area before the relocation of NCR, Inc. to Georgia in 2009.
Mrs. Sumo is a missionary from Cameroon her native country and she has traveled around the world sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, praying for the sick and feeding the needy families. She is a mother, a counselor and an intercessor for the people of God. 

Dr. J. Nnaemeka Onwuta, M.D.
Chairman of the Board

J. Nnaemeka Onwuta, M.D., is board certified in anesthesiology and pain management and serves as the medical director of Advocate Good Shepherd’s Interventional Pain Center. In practice for the past 15 years, he is a member of the Advocate Medical Group and has offices in Algonquin and Barrington. He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and did his fellowship in pain management at Cook County Hospital. He is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Practice, the American Academy of Pain Management, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. 
Dr. Onwuta is a delegate to the Illinois State Medical Society and is the former president of the Kane County Medical Society.

Elisha Sumo
Board Member/ Director of IT/Acting Secretary

Elisha Sumo  is a resident of Atlanta, Ga and graduate of DeVry University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. He is the CEO and founder of Upwardnow, a branding consultation and media production company. His work and endeavors have been featured in Essence Magazine, The Word Network, and VoyageAtl. 

 

His desire to equip the next generation has evolved into The Creative’s Digest and Conversations with The Politician. These podcasts facilitate thought-provoking discussion. He believes that there is a new wind of innovation on the horizon and seeks passionately to equip the minds of tomorrow. 

 

He attends and faithfully serves at Christ Disciple Mission Church under the leadership of his Father, Bishop Jean-Marie Sumo. He also serves as Board Member/Director of IT for Nations Community Restoration, Inc. Non-Profit. Elisha is also expecting to complete his Master of Business Administration in Winter 2021.

Elizabeth M. Sumo
Board Member/Treasurer

Elizabeth M. Sumo serves as the Treasurer of NCR Inc. Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting as a Summa Cum Laude in July 2019 at age 20. She currently attends Georgia Southern University where she is working towards her Master’s in Accounting. Elizabeth has worked with NCR Accounting and Financial Services LLC, since 2012. She has a cumulative of 8 years-experience in the Administrative Department and 3 years-experience as a Tax Accountant. Her knowledge and experience in administration and accounting makes her a valuable asset to the team.  

Rev. Paul Tamo
Board Member

A perfect bilingual (French-English) by training and practical experience, Pastor Paul Tamo is currently serving as Executive Pastor of a large Christian international congregation based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, and holds the position of interpreter for Language Line solutions, LLC.

He studied Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Yaoundé and at the Université de Franches Compté, Besançon, France, where he graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in Bilingual (French-English) Letters. He earned a Master’s Degree in Conference Translation at the University of Buea, Cameroon in 1990, and served in the Cameroonian civil service as Senior Translator and Deputy Head of the Translation Service at the Ministry of Agriculture. In December 1998, he was appointed Sub-Director/ Head of the Translation Unit in the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing (MINDUH). He served in that capacity until 2005, when he moved to the United States to be devoted to God’s calling. 

Pastor Tamo is married to Jacky Fobi-Tamo and a father of three: Emmanuella, Elyon and Levi.
